Live Webinar to inform students and families as CAO deadline looms

Careers Expert Dr Brian Mooney, Managing Editor of Ireland’s Education Yearbook, will answer your questions live at the free CAO webinar on Wednesday 12 January at 7 pm.

What students need to know will be streamed live on YouTube on Wednesday, 12 January, at 7 pm. There is no need to register, just go to the webinar live on YouTube at shortly before 7 pm.

The purpose of the webinar is to arm students and families with key information on the various options available to them upon completing their second-level education.

The event is being organized by Mayo Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) Education & Training Working Group and replaces the annual Mayo Careers Fair, which has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chairperson Pat Howley said:

“We are holding this event to help students, parents, and guardians as they make their all-important CAO choices.

“There is no need to register, just go to the webinar which will be live on shortly before 7 pm on Wednesday, 12 January.

“You can also send your questions beforehand to, or by WhatsApp on
087 9185 867, and Brian will seek to answer them on the night.”

The MC for the event is Barbara Ronayne, Mayo-Sligo-Leitrim Education & Training Board (MSLETB).
