The erotics of the Knock apparition, a reimagining of traditional music from the Seán Ó Riada collection and experimental poetry are among the highlights of the Irish Research Council’s 2018 Culture Night programme.
Culture Night takes place nationwide on Friday, 21st September, from 5pm to 10pm. For the third year in a row, the Irish Research Council is offering a packed programme of activities in the historic surrounds of Boston College, St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2.

THE POWER OF DISPLAY: EXHIBITION CULTURES AND EXHIBITED CULTURESFernando Sanchez-Migallon Cano will explore how exhibition design affects the meanings and receptions of specific objects, images, artefacts, and buildings, and how installations shape the viewer’s experience of the cultural ritual of a museum visit.
