Ireland's Education Yearbook is an annual print and online publication, published by Education Matters Ltd.
Conceived and developed by Phyllis Mitchell, the first edition of Ireland's Education Yearbook was published in 2008.
The principal aim of the Yearbook at that time was to create a platform for educators working in schools, whose voices often went unheard and unheeded.
Very quickly, Ireland's Education Yearbook developed its own distinctive identity and became recognised as a uniquely valuable and essential contribution to the education calendar.
The primary aims of Ireland's Education Yearbook are:
Ireland's Education Yearbook offers comprehensive coverage of all education sectors in Ireland:
Launched annually at the National University of Ireland by the current Minister for Education, Ireland's Education Yearbook can be purchased online, and print copies are also available by order.
Ireland's Education Yearbook has become a must-read for anyone passionate about education.
With up to 200,000 people employed in education in Ireland, not to mention parents, there is a significant market for purchasing Ireland's Education Yearbook. There is also an international market remaining to be explored.
Ireland's Education Yearbook is the unique fruit of a simple idea that grew from nothing into something enormously engaging and compelling.
It is now in an excellent position to expand further, grow in strength and influence, and increase its positive impact under the stewardship of a new owner and benefactor.
Ireland's Education Summit is a second event - powerful in its own right - that can further enhance the value of Ireland's Education Yearbook.
The Summit will provide an additional platform for Yearbook Authors to expand on their topics at a live or virtual gathering with fellow educators.
Again this year, authors in the current edition of Ireland's Education Yearbook will have the opportunity to further develop their topics through presentations at Ireland's Education Summit.
To date, the Summit has been virtual, but the aim is to host a live Summit in the near future.
